Ballroom of Romance birthday bash.
This was quite the bill, and the TBMC was taken over for the night. Cat on Form from the England of our Dreaming were playing at this. They looked a bit glum. Rumour had it they were splitting up or something. Reminds us of that time we played with Quint dahn de ahld Funnel, back in our Madman pomp, and they called it it a day too. The Null set also played that particular gig, and hold on, is that the Dudley Corporation playing at this one? Synergy, man, cosmic.
We start this gig off small and new, much like Isobel Marie, the titular heroine of our new song what we play for the very first time. We’ve been ensconced underground writing furiously for the new album, ya see.
We finish up with Opposite of addiction. We keep it going for ages, too long, perhaps, til it gets psychedelics and weird and where does one beat end and the other begin. It’s loud. I’m shaking afterward.
