Utter bollocks

Wonky, 2002

Wonky, 2002

w/ Redkneck Manifesto, Goodtime John, Somadrone

Wonky night, arranged by Leagues. Seriously, though. Deadly. The whole thing had sold out way in advance, though seemingly no-on we knew had managed to buy tickets. And how they kicked themselves.

Everything was there. Del 9 and DADDY with the animatrix, a film by Dineen, Somadrone, Goodtime John and especially the Rednecks and their new album. Lucky to be alive, they are, if the stories of their autobahn escapades are to be believed. And of course, we believe all.

The day almost started with a some inauspicion of our own, as Simon left a window unlocked and Vinny, unaware, leaned against it, thus almost falling out and down a few stories and giving him the fright of his life or at least since he looked in the mirror that morning. Five floors up were we. Deathfall it would surely have been. And we’d have been sad and crying until someone said, “here, bu’, Deathfallvinny!” and we’d be all a laughing again.

We were missing some of our musicians again. I can’t actually remember which ones. And we played some new song. And Vinny was using some amp and some volume pedal and it got so loud that I felt like fainting. Oh, and there was free booze, but honest, that wasn’t it. And we were interviewed for some telly program. Can’t remember which one.

I awoke on a couch sometime late. Can’t remember whose.
